🎮 Gamescom 2025

I recently watched IGN’s announcement review and read Gaspode’s recap of this year’s Gamescom convention (while dealing with FOMO like never before…) and felt like I was living vicariously through every announcement and experience.

Every screenshot and show floor picture amplified my “envy” -I mean, excitement* for surprise reveals, even if the Web3 gaming scene was a bit more “muted” compared to previous years.

Everything Announced at Gamescom 2025:

Fighting FOMO from Upcoming BANGERS:

  • Silent Hill f

  • Onimusha: Way of The Sword

  • Dragon Quest 1+2 HD 2D Remake

Although I wasn’t able to attend and get a hands on experience of playing some of these titles, I will be following updates and looking out for alt play-testing schedules for titles like the “Invincible VS” upcoming fighter especially.

Gaspode’s Tips For First-Timers Include:

  • Getting a trade ticket while moving between areas

  • Lodging away from Gamescom due to hotel pricing surges

  • Planning your itinerary to avoid getting overwhelmed

  • Arrive Tuesday, leaving either Friday or Saturday

  • and last but not least making sure to take care of your body on the trip (fruits, veggies, hydration, etc.!)

I will be doing everything in my power to avoid feeling the FOMO that I’ve felt year after year of missing some of the biggest gaming conventions and events. I’m especially looking forward to networking in the most fun industry in the world, and making dope connections along the way!
