I Got Into Wildcard’s Creator Program

I got the opportunity to playtest Wildcard in early alpha over 2 years ago and got to make a video covering my first impressions. Fast forward to now: …remember those creator program opportunities I wrote about in my last article? Long story short: I applied to Wildcard’s creator program, and I’m in!

What is Wildcard?

Brief intro to the game: Wildcard is a competitive gaming (e-sports) focused MOBA built on Unreal Engine 5.6, currently in closed alpha with early access launching end of October 2025 ahead of DreamHack Atlanta.

The Creator Program Overview

The Wildcard Alliance has launched a selective Creator Program for early adopters helping shape the game’s future. The program targets streamers, content creators, and community builders in the competitive gaming space.

What Creators Get

Exclusive Access & Support:

• Direct line to the internal dev team for feedback and collaboration

• Early Access to playtests (Friday 6pm EST - Sunday 6pm EST)

• Dedicated Creator Discord (w/ team access)

Marketing Support:

• Professional brand kits and game assets

• Custom referral tracking links for audience growth

• Regular social media spotlights and amplification

• Cross-creator collaboration opportunities

Monetization & Rewards:

• Referral rewards based on steam wishlists and player acquisition

• Campaign and collaboration opportunities

• Access to exclusive IRL events

Content Options

The program welcomes diverse content formats from Twitch streams to short form TikToks, or even strategy breakdowns or lore exploration on YouTube. Since Wildcard is still in early alpha, creators can also focus on deck theorycrafting or simple reaction content when direct gameplay isn’t possible due to server downtime or other technical issues.

Getting Involved

Interested creators can apply here. The program prioritizes creators who want to grow alongside Wildcard and help build awareness ahead of the early access launch.
